Detail steps

I am looking to slightly detail my e90. I say slighty as I do not want to get into using a machine.

I am looking to

Strip wash
Iron remover
Clay bar with detail spray
Wax

Are my steps correct? Do I need to do an iron remover?

Is wax after the clay enough?

My alpine white is rough to the touch, also has road debris built up. Black dots and some orange dots.

I'm off of work next week. Looking to take advantage since we have to stay home here in NY.

I will say I recommend considering some sort of polish after claying since clay can mar the paint. Hand polish is fine.

iron remover before the wash.

edit- i actually just came upon this last night.

Why iron before wash? Shouldn't dirt be taken off then iron remover. That video does not include clay. Just detailed wash.
