E92 m3 headers x pipe

Bought a set of american racing headers and xpipe, going to spend some money at the dyno. I am going to compare it against an active and gintani x pipe which i have laying around.

Nice to see what kind of difference the headers will make. I assume all the X-pipes are catless?

Epic, who is out of Florida can do you a solid on the tune. I have there tune running bimmerworld long tubes and x pipe with corsa axle back. It pulls hard. The xtra trq and hp the LT's bring is awesome. These cars are so heavy that extra power is welcomed.

What did those headers do for the sound in your opinion? More Euro-exotic, or more muscle car-roar?

I would say the Bimmerworld headers/x pipe and corsa alxle back is more euro-exotic. Sounds amazing.

Can you send a video of you set up? Would love to hear your combination. That's the sound I'm looking for.

Again, another ARH dyno thread that turns into vaporware.

I really look forward to seeing a before and after dyno that shows 40whp without tuning. Or was it 60whp? I don't remember

The hate on these headers is still strong.

Yet there was only one person who’s ever had them and posted an issue. Everyone else has been happy.

I would like to know if there's real horsepower gains. I've read and been told that OEM headers are already perfected. It's a lot of money if it's only minimal amount of gains if any. And I'm talking about the headers alone without it being disguised.

dyno results

The mods on my car prior were
AA filter
AA tune
AA muffler
Gintani cattless xpipe. we all know the gintani has proven gains.

car dyno 352 whp and 272 tq.
the out side temp was 94 degrees and 38 percent humidity.

the mods on the car now are
AA filter
AA muffler
AA tune
American racing headers
American racing catted x pipe.

car dyno 361 whp and 278 tq.

The weather was 99.5 degrees and 39 percent humidity.

so to sum it up the car made more power with the outside temp, hotter, more humidity, and now with a cated x pipe. bellow is the dyno sheet.

car is dct
both dyno were in 4th gear

Thanks for the dyno and your time on this. 6% higher temps is a factor that needs to be taken into account but still not worth the trouble for a stock displacement N/A motor imo.
