Removing stage 1

Hearing so much about the crank hub spinning is making me a little apprehensive on running the stage 1 tune , how long does the trace of a tune last , what if nothing happens for 20k miles later can Bmw still blame the tune?

The rod bearing issue is prevalent in all s65 engines regardless of miles, modifications and tunes. If you are that worried about it just change the rod bearings. Changing the tune won't save your engine.
