The best colour/interior combination
Hi guys,
I am getting close to having to pick my final colour/interior combination. I have listed my short list of five possibles. Sliverstone Silver with Blue Silver Silverstone Silver with Fox Red Space Gray with Blue Silver Sparkling Graphite with Blue Silver or Sparkling Graphite with Fox Red I like all of them and can't really make up my mind to which one. Please vote so I can see among the group which one is the most popular. |

I have SpaceGrey with Fox Red and very satisfied with my decision. Sparkling Graphite with Fox Red is similar and therefore, I definitely recommend over the other color choices. You will not regret the combination.

I think silver/silver will get old for you somewhat quickly. This opinion is only further strengthened by the fact that both silver's have blue in them. I have a silver on silver right now and have owned it for 7 years. While its still nice since its still a BMW I do wish from time to time that one of the colors was darker.
I feel like contrast is what gives most colors their appeal. |

To date your vote have shown me something which surprised me, that the blue interior isn't as popular as the Red is.
I love the white but reckon keeping it clear will do my head in and that is why I am discounting it over Silver but my heart is swaying toward Graphite at the moment purely because I haven't had that colour of car before. As for the interior color, I currently have a red interior and though Audi's and BMW's are totally different in shade I can't bring myself to pick it once more, especially as this time I will be keeping the car for a full term (3yrs). So I am narrowing my pick to just two choices. Silverstone with Blue or Sparking Graphite with Blue. |

Space Grey with Palladium and Piano Black Trim is looking pretty good to me.
I've seen a sample of the Palladium and it didn't actually look that blue but it did look very good, I was originally going to go Fox Red. |

I'm going to go for SSII and Silver interior, I think it looks killer. I need something other than black as it drives me nuts keeping it clean. Only other one I'll consider is Interlagos and Silver interior but my best friend has a Z4M in Interlagos and its almost as bad as black at showing dust/dirt

I'm as curious as you are and it will be interesting to see IRL if SS II will tie in well or not...

Finally specced the finish car.
I went for SSII and Fox Red extended leather, Carbon look Trim, EDC, 19" alloys, HI-FI System, Front park assist and heated front seats. Sadly still a long wait but at least I know it's coming. |

As you may remember I was originally wanting to go for Silver/Grey leather but after speaking to the dealer and seeing samples it just looked to light for me. They had a Fox Red interior car sitting and I still love the colour, to no where near as bright and in your face as Audi's Red and looks like it will stand up to a lot more wear and tear than either the Bamboo or Silver/Grey.
The Jerez Black looks truly amazing, especially the blue tint that you see in some lights but after having numerous Black cars I decided to go for something different and the Blue tint in the SSII really does pop in some lights. |
