Wind Noise Drivers Window
I’ve had a small bit of wind noise in my drivers side window of my E92 and am having problems figuring out a solution. The noise is coming from the back part of the driver side window near where the door lock area and up is.
I’ve tried everything short of opening the door card and making adjustments there. The door does not leak water and goes up all the way when opening and closing the door. The noise starts at highway speeds (60mph and up). My question is how others have handled this on the frameless e92 window and if replacing the entire window seals makes sense or any other tips?

I believe I read somewhere on the forum that there is a button you can access on the bottom of the driver side door when it is open that will allow you to manually adjust the window to get the placement corrected.
I think I have the same exact issue as you, I just haven’t gotten around to trying to fix it on my own yet. |

On older models I know that the window frame mounting bolts come out of the bottom of the door and these can be moved in or out to adjust the fitment of the window. Not sure on this model, but maybe there is. If so you can tighten the fitment of the window to the gasket by moving the rear bolt out a bit.
