[T.Stevens] 08 E90 M3 Ownership Journal

Hello All,

I decided that its finally time that I make this post. This will be a build journal/ log of everything done to my 2008 E90 M3 under my ownership.

Background
I had been looking on and off for about 3 years for a e90 m3 before purchasing my car. I wanted a fairly specific spec'd car and that made the search a lot tougher than I had anticipated. Overall, I'm happy that I waited for the car I wanted instead of buying other E90 m3's that I would have settled on. I purchased this car in late November 2021, from a fellow enthusiast/ forum member here and couldn't be happier!

This car started out its life in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. It was sold new in June of 2008. It stayed with its first owner until December of 2010 at which point it had 24,304 Miles on it. Roughly 2 years and 5 months of ownership. However, I unfortunately have no history of who the first owner was.

I know that it was then purchased by the second owner/ enthusiast that I purchased the car from. The second owner purchased it with roughly 24,500 miles on it in January of 2011. I was told the car remained in Florida until late April of 2013 at their summer house (iirc). Then it was exported from the USA and imported + brought up to Ontario, Canada in late April of 2013 where the car has remained since. The second owner drove, modified and maintained the car during his 10 years and 9 months of ownership. He took great care of the car and decided to sell it to fund a 996 911 turbo purchase.

As previously stated in Nov 2021 when I purchased the M3 and became owner #3. I received the car in mostly stock form with all of the stock parts that were previously removed. Pictured below is how it looked on the day I purchased it. I took these two photos minutes from my house on my way home from picking up the car!

Very nice! I am the owner of an Alpine over Fox Red 6MT E90 as well only mine started life in Canada and was imported to the US in 2016!
