There was no leak found from the smoke test. The car has been working find (crossing fingers) after my shop changed out the oil sensor. One of the mechanics said the faulty oil sensor could be causing the electronic gremlins. I kinda don't believe that it could be that simple though. I just got the bmwhat app for my phone and ill try to read if there are any soft codes that pops up. If you are getting the same codes and the motor could be running lean, has there been an unusual smell outside the car right after you turn the car off? That has happened to me a couple times.

it was just a faulty oil sensor that determines the oil level. mine was showing half full when i recently did an oil change which was a common symptom that the sensor was going. goes to show you to use common sense sometimes and not trust the oil sensor all the time.

It actually hasnt gone into limp mode for me since then and for me it was saying i was running lean. My indie shop also didnt find any leaks too. Hopefully my ordeal is done. Best of luck with yours. If anything pops up ill keep updating this thread.

people playing with code ending up creating issues that were not anticipated by the engineers who designed the subsystems. Like coding off some part. They expect to get it all back to factory by resetting code back to original but it's not that simple...

Finally today my problem was solved!
I ended up with making a smoke test which hasnt showed anything, then I decided like it was previously suggested by the dealer, to change one of the lambda sensors, first checked, yeah, there was a problem with one of them, but didnt came up itself as an error code, changed it in the end, and now everything is great) Will try to make some test runs in the evening to see the 100-200 time change.

now we hae 2 case 1 solved by oxogen sensor and i feel you are going to good way
and another one said oil level sensor and i cant believe what he say oil level sensor measure level only in engine if your shop said may be i am with him if your car fault with BSD communication from 3 thing ( oil level . alternator , ibs ) but for reduce power and emission mode for sure its not possible causes |

I'm having the exact same issues as the OP:
27AB- charge plausibility, diagnosis hot - bank 2 27AA- charge plausibility, diagnosis hot - bank 1 2B0D- idle actuator monitoring, bank 1 2714- intake-manifold pressure sensor I restart and it's okay, but it came back twice after a short period of time and then the car restarts in limp mode. I'm going to attempt the oxygen sensor replacement first as it's the simplest and cheapest solution, and another member resolved it the same way. Both OP and the other guy threw a new ICV and MAP sensor at the car to no avail. Clearly replacing those has not been the solution. ysv which sensor did you change? Any suggestions on which of the four I should swap out on mine? I'm assuming one of the two related to bank 1.

I would absolutely replace the Pre-cat o2 sensors. Especially since you’ve already replaced MAP/Idle control valve.
When the o2s fail, they will fail in a certain way that won’t trip a fault. |
