Anyone here from Vancouver, Canada?
Hey guys, I am going to start modding my M3 soon and I am wondering if anyone from Vancouver can tell me where I can order parts and where is a good place to bring my parts to. Many Thanks!

CG Motorsports in Steveston (south part of Richmond BC south of YVR airport) is an awesome shop. They have a killer E30 M3 racecar in their showroom. The owner Chris and the main mechanic Rudy are great guys -- worth the trip down to south Richmond http://www.cgmotorsports.com/ They are doing a supercharger build on an E93 right now http://www.cgmotorsports.com/cars/cu...e-e93-m3-build

Best way to get parts is from the US, shipped to Blaine or Point Roberts. A quick ride down to pick things up and import the stuff yourself.
Or else most forum sponsors will ship to Canada, but you'll get screwed on brokerage and duties with UPS and FedEx.

and if you have to ship from the US directly to Canada, PLEASE PLEASE ask the vendors to use USPS, not UPS... UPS will literally rape you on brokerage fee... $ 30+ for a $ 100 part...

Problem is that more and more vendors are refusing to ship by USPS due to an increased frequency of lost packages. Import yourself!

Surrey here. I just ordered some parts from IND and Alufelgen. Of course to Blaine.
Why would you NOT be able to drive down and bring stuff back? All you need is a valid passport. Just declare the goods when returning across the line, and pay your HST like a good Canadian. Same as good-ol' cross-border shopping. There are many reputable mailbox places in Blaine and Point Roberts that will accept your packages, big and small, for a very small fee ($2-5 depending on size).
