Bimmette's Intro Post with videos

Hey everyone! Some of you may know me from e90post or Off-Topic from the past 5 years here but it's my first time posting on m3post! I just traded in my '07 335i e93 for an '11 m3 e93 in mineral white metallic. I have lots of modding to do and I make YouTube videos of the process. Here's my reveal video and I have just plasti-dipped the wheels black which I know most here will be appalled by but it's temporary. Anyways I'll be around here a lot as I learn about my car and seek inspiration.

Congratulations on the convertible. You are going to hear about how much heavier and slower it is than the E90, E92, but when you open that top, all that other stuff goes out the roof. Get you a wind screen.

Thanks! Actually I've had an e93 for 5 years and even tracked it once despite its weight! I have a windscreen but never use it. It's a pain in the ass to put up. I think it's the same thing as rolling the windows up!

You're supposed to leave it on, and just fold it down (that's what I do)

Whoa I remember you from a lot of the OT threads. I was just a lurker, but enjoyed the better banter from the "older gang." Congrats on the M3 purchase too, your old E93 was sweet

Haha! Yeah, we were an active bunch back then! I mostly lurk in OT now and only post once in awhile

I used to have a e90 335i and definitely remember you. Cool intro video and welcome to the club. A genuine M car is on another level compared to the 335's, you're going to love it !

Agree with you on that one, but somehow I don't mind it, because I know that just means more fun. Sort of a dichotomy.

Mineral White Metallic is a 2011 and later factory color! There should be a paint code on the door sticker....A96, Alpine white is 300. Nice M3!
