Has anyone used SeatDoctors?

I have few scratches on the passenger seat of my car. I came across this site who provides seat dyes and wanted to see if anyone has used them before?

I emailed the guy and he actually asked me to take a photo of the damage so he can tell me if his product can fix it. Off to a good start so I'll go home take a few photos and let yall know how it goes.

Just find a local auto upholstery shop and have them do it. Most places charge $50-75. Some will even come to you and do it right in a driveway or parking lot.

I've used local shops before on previous cars and the work has always been excellent. Many of them can even touch-up scratches and blemishes on plastic trim pieces (think kick plates).

What color are you seats? I am looking for something similar for my seats but I have palladium silver and I have been trouble locating a reputable dye. Recently bought a leather repair/dye kit from www.leatherworldtech.com/ for my E36 M3 Dove grey interior so will see how that turns out.

I have the black novillo. I'm still waiting on a response from the guy after sending him pics. I can keep you posted.

Another vote for leatherworldtech.com. Also redyed the seats in my E36. Perfect match.

Most of these fixes are not long lasting. They'll last a few years and then the dye will fade or come off. The only way to permanently fix leather is to replace it.

Agreed, but my point was more that you should leave it to a professional rather than trying to dye it yourself (unless you are very experienced with fabric/leather and dyes).

I have a few scratches on my passenger seat as well, ordered Colourlock dye for black novillo leather last week. Have not had the chance to use it yet personally, but a good friend used this product on his Porsche last year and had great success.

When I get around to it I can get some before and after shots if anyone is interested.

Finally got some time to spend on the seats, wiped them down then took some pictures before and after I treated them with dye.

Well I haven't posted pictures in 5-6 years and it seems photobucket is not free anymore. Any other sites that allow 3rd party hosting?

Seems like my photobucket still works but there a lot of choices. Flickr, imgur, etc

OP this is from leatherworldtech on my fox red. 100% match in color.

how do you apply the dye, just wipe over the scratches with sponge? do you need to feather it around the peripheral etc?
