Thanks Mike I think putting the stock muffler back on hurt a bit though. FWIW I monitored the AEM boost gauge as well, it's hitting 7psi vs. the 7.5 - 8psi on the DJ reading, it's amazing what .5 psi can do.

I read this as boost oscillation. I'm sure you know you should not have any. How come ? |

CFM output is linear in any gear driven SC setup. The differences and variation of boost through the RPM range is mostly based on vanos configuration and throttle control. Some engines (like the 4.6L I assume) benefits from more overlap in some areas than other. If you look at PencilGeek's torque curve it is very smooth and strong throughout even if boost varies, this indicates advanced vanos calibration has been done to optimize VE vs filling in the various RPM ranges to achieve an optimal and smooth torque curve.

Drew nice gains (again) I really like the fact you picked up an extra 9 pounds of torqueGreat job man keep it up! So my car is at the shop having my kit installed. I dynoed my car on a Mustang dynamometer, the best run was 349.7whp. My vehicle currently has Fabspeed HFC's/resonated x-pipe with a Gintani race rear section and an Evosport pulley. What do you think I'll put down after the kit?(should we start a pool?)lol

Thanks buddy. You are correct, that is just the xpipe, but twith the stock muffler in place of the Borla I think it would make more with the Borla, I may redyno soon.

Thanks man, congrats on the Dinan xpipe it's a good piece. I may get the Dinan muffler cause the stock/catless combo sounds kinda weird, lol, Larry (biglare) says it doesn't drone and is quiet when cruising.

The heavily modded M3 was not at it's full potential but the runs were very close, the GTR is such an awesome car, fun times.
