Well, Rai is in the process of opening a shop finally, till now he would only do custom jobs at known shops but he recently released his own line of Aero parts and is signing a lease today.
so I am waiting for that before I tow it over. I hate long builds, I hope to have a good update in the next couple weeks. With EDC week here in Vegas Ill have to hibernate for the next whole week to recover Ill post up in a few days.

Finally a worthy update:
I got the rims sponsored by AME in a while back and was waiting for Rai to get in the new shop. Last week I called the tow truck and towed the car over to Rai's house, he is going to finish the work at his own place since closing the deal on a new shop is seaming harder then we thought.

Oh man, this is all reminding me why custom builds take so long..
The dilema has been how to make the front look good: First I ordered a set of LB front fenders, but I dont like how huge the front fender well gets when its radiused and raised liek that. plus most of them are warped and dont fit right. We have been looking for fiberglass front fenders so we can cut them and modify, but with no luck. the only aftermarket fenders are oem style plastic garbage.. and Seibon carbon fiber fenders.(I cant believe not one single aftermarket company makes wider aftermarket replicas) So I ordered a set of carbon feiber Seibon fenders. we will chop that up and custom flare them.. And then make a mold and sell those for every other frustrated widebody BMW guys sake.

Checkout their facebook or instagram photos. They have done e90 front fenders, although it looks like a stock flare. Their website is down, not sure what's up with that as posted photos on FB seem up to date so it looks like their still around. |

No , there is no wider aftermarket fenders at all.
I think I got a decent price though, I paid $900 or so for the pair when retail was $1700 on multiple sites, I kept searching and worked my way down to $1200 then found one that was $900 but the company closed it's door's so I got another company to price match it for me. after shipping it was $1100.

Teaser update.
midway with front fender work, flares being worked out and cut and starting to take shape. this is a slow process and I don't want to hurry Rai, both sides need to match identically and flow. I asked him to make it taper in similar to the rocket bunny FRS and GTR flares, and we will make a custom front diffuser/under tray later. here are a couple pictures: First off is a rendering of Rai's own car. That's sort of the final look I would liek for the rear, of course the GT wing would be easily taken off since it is bottom mounted, but that rear difuser idea with custom under mounted wing mounts is just sick. My idea is to ahve a luxury/gt/drift looking machine, I am sure it'll be a love it or hate it thing. closer look at the fender work.near 65% percent completed.

after front fenders and done are rear flare caps are made, I will paint or wrap it so I can start driving it.
then bring it back to the shop for Rai to work on the custom Aero/difusers and extensions whenever we have time. by then I hope the Supercharger will be instaleld and tuned and I plan on a custom Rollbar/4-6point cage, but not the boxy type, more like a beautifull bar shaped after the seats so it flows. sure it wont be as strong as a ragular cage but I am not doing max speed runs, It will be a street and drift car and at my experience level I wont be going fast enough to cause any significant damage. most non pro drift accidents happen around 40-60mph.

f******* A dude... this is approaching nintendo video-game proportions bro. Epic. Love the rendered models - can't wait to see how it all turns out.
On another note, wish there were wide-body kits for the F30 similar to what you are trying to do for the M3. Damn. |

as for the rear, a good fiberglass guy or welder can easily make a widebody, look up/research a lot of custom wide body VIP cars. the 4doors cause trouble, but if they make a flare going over the rear door then cut the opening (open), it works fine. But yeah no one makes aftermarket fenders that are wider.
