Vibration felt in brakes and steering wheel after acceleration

I had a 25000 mile service done in April. Everything was perfect before I had it done. After the service a vibration is felt in the brakes as if there is oil left on the rotors.(no brake service was done). The vibration is also felt in the steering wheel in slow turns (35 mph) with not brakes applied. This all happens after hard acceleration with one or two gear changes. (DCT). Can anyone shed light on possible reasons and solutions? Thanks in advance.

Nope not warped. Doesn't do it any other time than described in OP.

What was the service? Were wheels removed?

25000 mile service. Engine and diff. oil change. Also, alignment. Like I said, it only happens after hard acceleration. It goes away after car is turned off. Then started back up after it sits for a bit. My first guess is differential, but would that effect the front brakes?

Instead of playing a guessing game, why not go back to the dealer/mechanic and explain the issue? IMO they need to figure it out if it was suddenly there after they had the car.

I would do that. The dealer I went to was in Hawaii. I'm now in Alabama, then traveling to Colorado.

Long ocean trips have been known to cause this problem. Solution is to ship the car rather than to drive it.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

BMW should still warranty the work for 1 year, generally. Visit your new dealer and find out.
