ESS 625 @ 9psi vs Ferrari 458 Italia

Had the pleasure of running a 458 this evening in Mexico land. Did 2 pulls, one from 40 and one from 60. End result was me ahead by about 3-4 bus lengths. Was pleased with how well the M3 pulled. Before the whole "keep it on the track" gets thrown at me, this was done very late, very minimal traffic, and on a private road in "Mexico"

M3 with ESS 625 @ 9psi 613hp
Ferrari 458 bone stock.

Should've let the 458 honk it off. Odd way to start a race, but good job nonetheless.

I don't know why but this reminds me of every blown Honda racing the bone stock M3 on a "private" road in "Mexico" kill story....

I'd still rather be in an m3 than a riced out highly modded civic that beats me and I'm guessing that guy still prefers his 458 but nice kill regardless.

Its ebarrasing to see these threads for m3 owners. "1..2..3go" Jumping the start first is not fair.

But what did you expect from this race? A blown m3 with that much power of course will take a car with less hp. The Ferrari 458 is in such a different league it means nothing.

A tuned 335 with turbo upgrade can beat a Ferrari.

Just silly and agree with the above. Blown civics beat m3's ..as would be expected.

You slap an aftermarket big turbo upgrade on an engine and then beat a bone stock Ferrari AND you jump the start. To me that is just embarrassing as an m3 owner
