Fancywide e90 rear diffuser installed.

Ordered the Fancywide rear diffuser a few weeks ago and it finally arrived. I currently run a challenge carbon fiber diffuser with carbon fiber rear bumper canards/extensions. My intention was to run both diffusers at the same time but I was unsure if the Fancywide diffuser would work with other aftermarket diffusers. I pulled the trigger anyway with the expectation that I'd have to do some fabrication to make both work. The diffuser is very well made in my opinion and although the shipment was shipped without in box instructions, I reached out to the Fancywide reps and they had pointed out that they have instructional videos for anyone who needs help. Surprisingly, I did not need to fabricate or chop anything to make both work together. I did use some different hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, washers...) to get the job done. In the end, I'm happy with it. So anyone who had questions about running this with other diffusers, I'd say yes you can.

I installed mine yesterday as well. Was busy with someone else’s car and didn’t get a chance to take photos. I was going to put another diffuser on with it but I kinda like see how the tips stick off my exhaust from it .

I like the fancy wide a lot. To me, it looks too busy with 2 diffusers.

Did you guys order eBay or website? I'm having issues with website. It's telling me to pick a shipping option even though it's already set to their standard shipping rate.

I ordered through the website. I never had any issues. I don't remember which option I chose though.

Is that the "full" diffuser (they list two E90 versions on their site)? I'm curious to how much it covers under the car and if it would actually provide any real aero benefit or if it's just cosmetic.

One is for the e90 m3 and the other is for the e90 3 series. The e90 m3 one says it right on the link.

In my opinion it's a pretty good fit. I feel like there will be fitment issues with any CF piece. So with that said, I did have to dremel down a few areas to make things work, specifically the license plate lights and where the tabs of the inside tail light pieces go. The CF trunk is also significantly lighter than the OEM trunk. Hope this helps.

There doesn't have to be fitment issues with CF. Manufacturers are just trying to crank these things out as fast as possible without proper QC...and people keep buying them, so they assume a 8/10 or 9/10 fit is acceptable and keep making it that way. Alternatively, people just don't want to pay for OEM-quality fitment for these parts.

Hey OP - can you let me know if you placed the long rod into the black rubber mount for the exhaust? and it's an angle? the rod is rather long so not sure this is the right place.

Is any drilling or cutting of the bumper or other parts required to install this diffuser? Or is it a straight bolt-on?
