BBS E88 / 19x9 19x10 / 5x120 / Silver Face / Cincinnati

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:

Item Interest
***SOLD AS OF 7/20/2017***

Hey everyone! I have up for sale a set of authentic BBS E88 race wheels. Here's what you need to know:

WHAT:
BBS E88 Race Wheels

BOLT PATTERN:
5x120

SIZE:
19x9 Fronts / 19x10 Rears

OFFSET:
+38 Fronts / +26 Rears I had Brembo GT on the car and had zero issues. Note that 12mm spacers were used on the fronts and will be required for the E9X platform as well.

WEIGHT:
Both front and rear wheels were weighing in right around 24.8 pounds each give or take.

CONDITION/NOTES:
Overall the wheels are in great used condition. The only imperfections I'm seeing are the water spots on each wheel as shown in the photos. I have NOT put in a lot of effort to try and get this off as I'm a bit nervous to try any sort of cleaning product on these based on horror stories I've heard from people trying different things. Honestly, you only see this you are up close. I took a couple pics of extremely minor nicks from day to day driving. There are no curb rashes, bent lips, gouges, etc. anywhere. All wheels are straight and true with zero issues whatsoever. No tires are included in the sale. You get all (4) authentic BBS center caps as well. The caps show light wear, but again, only noticeable when up close. I have taken photos of the BBS applied stickers for each component. If you have ANY questions at all you can call BBS at (770) 967-9848 Race Division and they'll give you any information you want on these.

PRICE:
***SOLD AS OF 7/20/2017***

SHIPPING/DELIVERY:
Let's keep it simple. FREE SHIPPING (FedEx Ground) within the Continental U.S. I went and got a rough shipping quote so you all know what I will be paying:

East Coast - Approximately $160 for all 4
Midwest - Approximately $172 for all 4
West Coast - Approximately $236 for all 4

Wheels are located in Cincinnati, OH and I would be available anytime for a local pick-up.

***SOLD AS OF 7/20/2017***

Water spots on the lips or face? If on lips you simply polish them with metal polish. I use McGuire's polish for aluminum.

Hey Slicer! The spots are on the lips. No issues with the faces at all. I have heard the right polish will work on the lips, but I'm just a little nervous to try anything. I'd rather the new owner give it a go.

Hey slicer! Long time no talk. You think tpms will fit the slant lips?

Great news! I picked up some Mothers metal polish and the spots are coming right off. I was a little nervous to try it out, but no issues whatsoever. I only worked on a small area of one wheel, but I will work on all (4) wheels and will update the thread with pics.

Thanks for the help!

Tpms fit but the 2" or narrower lips have an 8mm diameter valve hole. Standard TPMS valve size is 11mm iirc. I was able to find a TPMS compatible valve stem in 8mm diameter. I happen to have a pair that I would sell. PM if interested

You are welcome. It's raw aluminum so you really can't harm them irreparably. In fact I slightly curbed one of mine and sanded / polished out the scratch. Good as new.

All PMs replied to. Haven't had a chance to polish all of them but will ASAP.

On a side note, please PLEASE...SERIOUS inquiries and offers only. If you want the wheels let's talk. I'm happy to negotiate....but low ballers will be ignored. Some of these offers are just insulting. Contact me only if you're ready to follow through. I appreciate it.

Alright everyone, I got rid of the stupid little costs. PayPal fee is waived and I have eliminated the packing material costs. I'll eat those.

Sorry, have not had a chance to get the water spots off completely with the metal polish I purchased just yet, but, I have lowered the price a bit. Will remove water spots ASAP.

Original post updated. Price remains the same, but I am offering free shipping within the Continental U.S. So no shipping fees, no PayPal fees, no packing fees...NOTHING. Just keeping it simple.

Sorry, have not had time to tackle the rest of the water spots on the wheels yet.

Who says they don't fit your brakes? It's the 18" version that isn't compatible with Brembo 380mm. The 19" E88 is compatible. There are a few different center styles for the e88 which impacts brake clearance. You are all good as long as these are the version with the part number ending in 327 (part number milled onto wheel face).

Slicer I appreciate this! I thought all along they'd fit, but I couldn't confirm 100% since I had them on an E46. I just had heard that they would fit without an issue based on the centers and the widths of the wheels. I would leave it up to others to double check the info since I provided all the right numbers on the additional photos link to Photobucket.

They have the 327 centers. I think we're set!

Thanks again Slicer!!
