Oh, the install/removal I'm not concerned with. I'm more concerned about having to pop for a tune for a used kit, which is money I won't recoup when moving to a TT kit if/when it hits the scene.

I've always tried to not take a step backwards with the car, so that I won't lose money if I replace a mod, and that would be a fiscal step back IMO.

Every time you mod it is a fiscal step back. Just saying...

True, but I mitigate that a lot of that by not buying many things new.

nope, nor beta data or approx. release info. with the v8TT and s55 turbo platform already in the market, i think the 'market' both on the consumer and retail side are concentrating on those cars.

I'm sure if you showed up with actual money, they'd be more than happy to build one for your car.

If you haven't heard a V8 Twin Turbo SPOOL then let me leave this here...

After hearing this money becomes irrelevant. The market is definitely interested in Gintani buying a wholesale e90 add the turbos, test it, ship it as a complete pkg. HPF m3's were also expensive and most shipped in then back out. Performance shops buy, build, tune, and ship cars internationally all the time. Vivid is a local shop with most of their builds shipping complete to the middle east (dubai)

If you love cars then you have got to love those sounds! This is something the F80 and N54 just cannot do.

i live in an area with a dozen + TT vettes and a few r8 audis that are also tt, the sounds are amazing. for $20K plus the price of an e92m3 i'll turbo a zo6 vette.

again, my hopes that it will come out soon as i think gintani is known for making great quality products. i just dont' think it will and it won't be for less than $20k. i hope i'm wrong.

Too many new people in the game who have no idea about past stories.

+100
I'd suggest we close this thread until they have it built...
Too much wasted energy on the "what if" rather than what is...

Not that I was interested in this buy it seems like terrible business to not address this from Gintama themselves. I'd never use a product from them

We are currently building a TT E93 M3 right now with the Gintani kit, it also has a 4.4 in it

it should be up and hitting the streets within a few weeks

Stay tuned

This is exciting news. Glad to see the TT project or a variation is alive. Can't wait to see some updates.
