obd2 port like power source?

reviving this thread as im looking to pickup this wheel for xmas.

there are a few videos on youtube and threads on this forum that confirm dct compatibility(shift lights, temps, etc fully functional on the wheel). can anyone else confirm this?

i'm trying to make sure i know how to install the PSW before purchasing. i'm unsure about tapping into the JBE. so we're talking about tapping connector X14272? but when i check the pin layout (in this doc : https://www.e90post.com/forums/attac...0&d=1295915760), pin3 and pin6 are "loop through" and "terminal 31", doesn't sound like voltage supply and ground?
