You sold it more 3 years ago. Now you you can get a 2013 model for the price you sold it for...I hate the fact that our M3 is depreciating fast

I think over the past year, they haven't changed too much, but 1-3 years ago they really tanked. I actually put my car on craigslist as a test and was able to get offers higher than what I paid back in April of 2015. Ofcourse, offers and people actually coughing up the money is another thing.

You just bought the car. Are you considering to sell it now?

No, I am planning on keeping it. I put it up to feel out the market. I am loving every second, but sometimes get tempted at trying out other cars as an enthusiast (Porsche 911 / C7)

So im looking to trade in my 2010 135i w/81k for 2011-2012 e92 m3.

Found a 2011 alpine white, w/ Competetion package, convienence package, premium 2 package, CF roof nad DCT.
Asking price: $41,888

Reasonable asking price?Room to get it lowered a little?
I would also purchase bmw extended warranty.

Congrats! Sounds like a find, and with 17k miles it's still basically a new one. Well done...

Thanks ! Yeah my friends tell me I find unicorns haha. My whole life I have always found crazy deals on cars. I am very patient and usually troll the forums of what cars I am interested in.

Got to drive the car for about 6 weeks before she went away for awful New England winter. Can't wait till spring! Was between the m3 and a z06, really happy I found this car.

I was in talks with the car who was the previous owner for the longest time. I just wasn't ready to re-commit to the platform as I was still hopeful on a GT4. 2 months later, I am back in! Great get. I kinda regret not getting it now.

First post here, bought mine from BMW Woodlands Houston.

2011 E90, 42K miles, CPO wrap through '17, Premium and Convenience Packages, Nav, DCT. $37.7K, traded my E36 GTS2/3 race car and daily driver 335i to make the deal. Boom (or boom) depending on how you look at giving up a race car for a DD/part time track car. Already have wheels, tires, SRF and pads for COTA next month with Chin. Looking forward to that!

Congrats, that's a great deal on the price with CPO!

If it's black on black with the black M3 badge and 220Ms, I was stalking that one for a while but couldn't pull the trigger since it was being sold by a Toyota dealership at the time and I'm out of state.

Congrats!

Yup, black on black. I think it's the same one, looking at the CarFax, it was traded by the 2nd owner to a Houston Toyota dealer then sold at Auction to Woodlands BMW in July. Funny thing is, it wasn't promoted with the CPO wrap and until we started paperwork thought I was going to be buying an aftermarket warranty. Then it came up as still fully covered when finance was digging into the VIN.

Saved me some $$$ on a warranty for sure, I'd budgeted another $2-3K for a couple of years warranty, so bonus points there!

It's an awsome car! Interior is flawless. The exterior is really nice with the exception of a few rock chips. Only thing I really miss that my e60 had was a heated wheel! Still not sure why it doesn't come standard with the cold weather package! ?
