When purchased: Dec 2017
Year and Model: 2011 E92 Miles: 33,300 Options: Premium, Cold Weather, Tech, Convenience, Extended Leather, Sunroof Transmission: DCT Aftermarket: Macht Schnell intake; Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust; BPM Sport tune (ECU/DCT/Coding); H&R springs; VMR 19" 710 wheels; RW Carbon Fiber trim (front splitter, spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts); 3m clear bra; vinyl striping Price: $35,300 + ttl + exorbitant FL dealer fees + shipping + aftermarket warranty. Should arrive on Thursday! After two months of searching and looking at everything under the sun from 996 Turbos to GT350s to Z06s I finally pulled the trigger on an M3 as the ultimate balance of everything I was looking for (speed, handling, exhaust, space for the kids if needed, all with a touch of rarity and style). I gave up on the rarity side a bit but I think the previous owner put enough money into this one to make it stand out from the crowd. I'll likely swap out the VMRs for a lighter set of forged wheels at some point. Last edited by CheetoNYC; 12-09-2017 at 10:17 PM.. |

2011.75 (8/11 build date) E90 6MT
55k miles (now 61k) Jet Black No options car (slick top, Speed Cloth, no iDrive, no NAV, no EDC, no ZCP, etc.) Actually I think the only option the car does have is the "Smoker's package" even though it's never been smoked in. Originally a lease, then picked up by someone that put about 5k miles a year on it, then me. Not sure if I paid too much or not, but I feel I got a deal. I've searched for a stripper E90 M3 6MT for years that's in good shape with a good history. The only thing I wanted different than what I got was I wanted Alpine White (which I still want, but having a blast!). Paid $33k back in early August 2017. So far... Borla Atak + X pipe, ZCP 359 wheels + Continental rubber, Dynavin in-dash, new plugs, alignment, BE rod bearings scheduled for end of the month, AutoSolutions custom spherical bearing shifter + ZHP knob, Group N motor mounts, PFC pads + DOT4 fluid, power steering fluid reservoir + fluid, and an oil change + Blackstone Up next... Solid subframe bushings, poly differential bushings, control arm bushings, KW suspension bits, and Macht Schnell Stage 2 intake So I guess a bit more than $33k now Let's drive the balls off this thing |

I have! I haven't really dug into it too much, but I'm assuming it will be a chunk of change. I'm not sure if I'm keen on the idea of having black door jams and such, but maybe it's not that big of a deal. What's a "usual" cost to have this done? Would be nice to get a good detail and wrap it up to protect the paint.
I just love the way little accents show more against the white (hood nostrils for example). Maybe even Laguna Seca Blue! |

It depends on the material they use, as 3M isn’t the only vinyl supplier, I forgot the one a company here near me used but the job was around $3.7k or 4.5k CAD for the estimate on my 335i, and it was like $900 for the roofnon my M3 |

Sold my 2008 E90 M3 on Sunday for $23K.
Car had 65.9K miles and BMW replaced the engine at 46K miles. 6MT, slick top, paint and interior 6/10, mechanically car was 10/10. Sad to see her go for such a low price but both buyer and I did decently well. |
