how do u install h&r spring
hi i took my h&r sport spring kit off of my e92 m3 about a month ago and decided that i want them back on. honestly im sick of paying shops to do stuff that im positive that i can do myself. i couldnt find anything on line on how to install them. i was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about installing these springs. or maybe there is a site that has instructions or something. i just wanna be prepared so i dont get the springs off and then realize that i dont know how to get them back on.

Make sure you have a torque wrench and spring compressor before starting. The project itself is very easy, just takes a bit of time. I did mine by myself using a floor jack and jack stands in just under 4 hours.

I would say it is not even necessary to have a spring compresor. I just did mine, and could have done it without it. You just unbolt the front strut, not unbolting the strut bearing, and put a jack under one of the front control arms, and slowly lower the strut to relieve the spring tension. Then to install, you simply do the opposite. It was pretty simple. This was not my first spring install though.
