Easier than a coat hanger// coil pack removal

Doing my plugs without a coil puller tool and found this to be really easy. Even got this 'topped' coil out with ease. In skydiving we call them "pull up cords" and use them to pack parachutes. It's just a length of webbing. The one I used was actually a Gucci bag tie.
IMHO better than a hanger as it's not metal, won't scratch, and can get leverage around a bends.

I do the same thing but I use my coil puller and then tie around that. The extra length from the rope helps.

It's funny to me how the biggest obstacles are little "puzzles" of angles and clearance. #8 is easy to switch but hard to properly torque. Reinserting the coil on #7 is a little tricky. And then there's good ole #1, I mean c'mon. I feel like there was one guy during the final build proof that was gonna say something about clearance, but he was sick that day.

"Clearance" such a poignant word.

I used an old piece of network patch cable I had laying around, worked great!

Couldn't fit the torque wrench för the inner/passanger plug. Seemed to be the same for the dealer that did previous plug change cause that one clearly satt harder then the other.

Yeah, that ones a pita. I have the swivel plug socket, a universal joint, and a 6" extension. Still gotta hold the wire bundle to one side while bracing the extension. In hindsight I'll take off the strut brace for a little more space. 🤷*♂️

Does anybody put a little dielectric grease on the inside of the boot? It should help the coil slide off the plug easier for next time.

I even bought some grease specifically for this but as the coils itself was quite easy to pull I never used it. Might have been my Super Tool made by CAT wire and rope knot...

TIS is explicit that no grease should be use.
