Anyone else want to rip out the dashboard and the steering wheel whenever you hear the 'BOOOING' sound?

My neighbour has a 530d and her car went 'boing' as I was walking away from mine... I just whispered under my breath 'fuck you'

I did a long road trip recently and set my speed warning at 85. I would be driving along and out of nowhere, BOING. Instant momentary panic attack that the rods flew out of the block, and then, oh yea, speed warning.

When I got my car few months ago... I set it to 'current speed' which happened to be 7mph. Hahahah.

Imagine what I went through trying to figure that out. 😂😂😂

The "cold temp" warning is the one that gets me every time winter comes around LOL. Already 5 minutes into my drive, and BOOOOING! and a streak of anxiety always passes through me until I see the snowflake symbol LOL

The door open chime, the key in the ignition chime, the hey you only started your car one second ago and haven't even put it in gear yet but did you know that you still haven't fastened your seatbelt?

I am not exactly flying a fighter pilot jet here. I know there are things to be made aware of in my ultimate driving machine but I am not a total idiot.

A friend coded out ALL of the chimes with his Carly (or whatever they are calling it these days). It has been much better.

Been there done that. FTM triggered before the tire lost air and I was able to slow down and pull over

Every time I barely get below 1/4 level of the gas tank (which is all the time) BOING!! and the first thing that comes to mind is....rod bearings, and a plume of smoke behind me.

I thought it was just me. I learned to hate the 'boing' in my always broken E70. Got the 'boing' when I blew the engine in my SO's F25, and still cringe every time I hear it.
