He's sending me one shortly. It's a revised design that also accommodates aftermarket shift boots. I'll report back once installed.

Awesome! I look forward to seeing how it turns out. I'd really like to do the M5 shifter mod, but am not wanting to mess with my old frame.

Eager to see the feedback from ppl who has tried the full integrated frame with tabs...

To my understanding this product is made with durable material and will allow for the F10 M5 shift boot to be transferred over with no modifications needed?

If so OP I think you have a winning product that many owners will be interested in!

Aftermarket boots are 2-3x thicker than stock, or at least the ones I got from the ebay UK vendor. So I agree with the last poster, would be a winning product for sure.

I'll post pics.

Did you make your own shift boot frame?

Subbed for feedback. Interested as well

Also does anyone know where I can purchase a standard oem like shift boot that's not connected to knob? Don't want alcantara or tricolor stitching or anything just regular oem like. There's some that come with zhp knob for 2-300$ but I don't need the knob and don't want to spend that much for a boot

Saw this and will only be able to use it if I can get that plastic ring. Don't want to take apart stock one. Thanks though

Shift trim legit!

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay. I've been working on a carbon fiber center console so I wasn't able to test fit this until today. In short, this shift boot trim works better than stock. The material is very strong. It comes shipped with the clips apart so you'll need to glue them. I tried different compounds and the best way to attach these in my opinion is using JB weld. I'll attach some pics.

All in all, for the price, this is your absolute best bet. I'd say, buy with confidence. OP is a stand up guy and makes absolutely sure you are taken care of.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help based on my experience.

Clips / Ring

Have the eBay version which is failing and also the OEM with two clips snapped off. Would it be better to repair the OEM one ( attached ) or the eBay one ? Don't know exactly where the clips go no the OEM b/c they are gone and ring is kind of carved out in the areas where they were. What do you think ?
