My +550hp E92 is far from having that much traction issue in similar condition, sure I'm running 295s PSS and he only has 275s but I still have 100hp more then him and my car grips better in the wet!

I'll say it again, a high hp/high torque turbo engine is not well suited with a front engine/RWD platform, this kind of engine needs AWD unless you want a drift car!!

I dunno, I have owned a few that were great DD, you just got a ride in one. TQ and HP are diff and that's the main reason the e9x feels down on power. Once you get up to 7500-8k though and the car keeps pulling it really is wild considering it's a v8 and the car really shines upstairs but daily driving stoplight to stoplight the torque is nice to have as it keeps the car moving. Shit, you could start a z06 in 5th gear from a stop sign!! (even top gear did it). The m3 (e9x) drives like a rev happy 4 cylinder. It's a great car and I love this one more than the new, but too many people are dismissing the f8x and it's proving to be a big HP monster!

This is why Ferrari is trying hard to limit torque by tuning the boost at certain rpm

True, but you usually need a track to do that while having tons of power makes it fun even on the road!

It's called modulating your right foot. I've been driving a 135is loaner in the rain the past few days with DSC off. Sure it's no M4, but definitely a lot more low end torque than my M3. I'm quite surprised at how much it takes to actually get the car to slide. There's just so much grip even in the wet.

the only true supercars in that list are ahead of the m4. 350Z, civic or mini are supercars now ? Except for the lambo. All those british aston and vauxhall aren't true supercars, but it's a british show so..

Yep it's called modulating, and having to modulate the throttle more then you'd like to is exactly what's taking the fun away IMO! Also, turbo engines are usually not renowned for their precision with the throttle.

not fine... This is how i expect the m4/3 to crash too due to RWD turbo, in straights at high speed. move to 1 min 6 sec on the first video.

Well, it did'nt!

And BTW, I've been in a Z06 and thought that engine was kind of lazy in the low RPM, that coupled with a more linear delivery and some 325s tires probably makes that car much easier to drive in the wet then F8x, just my .02$!

This.
Wasn't there a video where the way more underpowered Porsche C2 (NOT S) beat the M4 around a track - forgot which track but it was on the same day and same professional driver.
Plus I seriously can't get over the lawn mower sound while idling. Granted it sounds okay under load, but that idle sound is just terrible in my opinion.

Just read the Dec Car & Driver on the Lexus F series coupe. They like it but didn't love it, but they took a few pot shots at the M4 when they praised the NA engine of the Lexus and the suspension and ride of the Lexus.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Agreed!
Look at Team Schirmer Killing the Nurburgring in their E92 M3. Nothing done to the motor, just full exhaust, seats, cage, a diet and computer work. But their handling department is INSANE! They are hitting lap times of 7 min in the Nurburgring.
Get the E92 dialed in and you have a beast with a lovely sounding V8. Nuff said.

I said: "some" of the cars, to avoid any more constipation:

Not super cars, super priced cars ... aside from, yes, the Japper rides.
