Macht Schnell FTMFW!

So i picked up a macht schell high performance filter from rennspec ad id have to say this is a great mod! The sound and response you get from a simple drop in is sick!! From 3k rpms on the car sounds so aggressive, its a angry deep loud growl,at full throttle the response with M mode is scary.

Def. best best bang for your buck by far!!

Thanks Simon from Rennspec!

For such a simple mod. you have to agree that the difference is great. The car feels so fresh. Im addicted to the growl from the engine, it literrally sounds like growling.

Couldnt agree more, its like the beast was awaken, sounds the best when you put it on sport plus mode.

I also have air scoops, so maybe that adds to it? nevertheless this is a great mod, I highly recommend it.

Air filter may, your right foot won't.

Honestly, i don't see too much difference, besides a louder whoosh sound at high RPMs. I'm still glad i got it, and the filter seems well made.

10 horses is hard to feel in a 400+ horsepower car. I can feel a little difference at 70+ mph with my filter and scoops, but it's not mind-bending. Even if a filter only gives you 5-10 horsepower it's still some of the cheapest power increases you're likely to see I guess .

Sounds great..........but got stung with the AFE filter as the Aust spec cars have different filters to the US spec cars.......go figure!. Do you know if this filter will fit the Aust spec car? Thanks in advance.............

I'm amazed by the people that feel the difference with this filter change... I wish my imagination was that good.

I bought it also from EAS. Quality is very nice and the sound does change for the better. But the car still feels the same. I suppose if I asked it nicely it might tell me it's happy

I just installed the Macht Schnell as well. Props to Gary and Simon at Renn Spec for getting it out to me so fast! As far as the filter itself, there is a noticeable sound increase making the above noted deeper and throatier wonderful noise. You can also hear the intake now with the windows down as you step on the throttle. As far as increased performance? That is up for debate...but fitment and quality is superb with no rattle at all.

Glad to hear that you decided to be original and go with the BMC. Let me know how you like it

Removing the integrated charcoal filter is enough to give you a bump in performance, not to mention improved flow.

Most on the forums are running the MS filters, we haven't sold an AFE since.
