It worked out very well. National runner up in BM in 2013 and Notheast Regional BM champion, and Northeast Regional BM champion for 2014. Now time to compete with some bigger faster drivers. Still always learning and growing. Always modifying the car.

Just a question ; why 3in on the exhaust? From my understanding for our motor being all it is and keeping it NA 2.5 to 2.75 in is best suited.

Not sure I can answer. Race exhaust builder and engine management seemed to think it best. And 4 inch wouldn't fit. And with side exhaust coming exhaust becomes mute.

Thanks. My "rookie race days". And when I took some of my students out for rides to scare the instructor trainees. :-)

Here are some more recent race and practice videos.

Thanks. It is never done. Still adding, deleting, etc, etc. Just replaced all the glass with Lexan (kept the front window), and are tweaking some new things. Stay tuned for this years prep.

Nice vids! Subscribed to your channel. Have you tried switching to spot metering on you camera so video won't be so over exposed? Mine used to do the same until I switched to spot metering and made sure camera was pointed directly at windshield. I love your build and I'm looking to you for inspiration to finish mine.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I have to be honest I'm not sure I know what spot metering is. I'm using a dual contour setup. Both are attached to the main hoop of my cage. On is pointing straight out the front windshield and the second one is pointed backwards. I don't know of I can change to spot metering. I'll have to look. Thanks for the tip.

NP! Spot metering adjusts the camera so that it only uses a small spot in the middle of your image to adjust the exposure. Most cameras allows you to switch between matrix, center-weighted or spot-metering. Because your camera is set so far back and also capturing your dark interior, spot metering is necessary to prevent over exposure due metering off the dark interior. If your Contour does not have spot-metering you can try center-weighted metering or moving your camera forward so less of the dark interior will affect the exposure. Play around with the settings to see what works best for you.
