That is correct. The OEM M Performance wheel is thinner than the standard wheel. Not by much but thinner regardless. I wanted to keep the thickness of standard wheel and am very happy with the outcome.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to get my wheel wrapped as well to keep the thickness.

What extended paddles are those? Link?

I believe they're Autotechnic. If you search BMW DCT Paddles in eBay you'll find a massive offering of them.

how much was it out the door? it would make a nice GTS knock off... whole round and no strip.. looking at this one tho looks like the strip is pretty thick. thicker than OEM perf wheel!

Derp it looks like I started my thread for nothing. So does anybody have the OEM performance center trim with a Coby wheel who can tell me which of their colors matches the OEM Performance trim? I'm done with this crappy soft-touch coating on the steering wheel rubbing off.

black would be the closest. the grey that coby wheel offers is more like the e46 alcantara and is lighter than that of the e9x m3 alcantara

Thanks! That's what eyeballing it on the internet looked like but I thought that was what I saw too, they were going for close-to-CSL with the gray. Rad. Winter project along with the MFactory driveshaft
