Sure no problem at all. You will just need to do some filming while riding shotgun

Looking forward to meeting you all in person and maybe getting a run or two! Trying to get some 19's before the event since I'm running 20's right now...

Yikes 20's won't help with traction. While they will sweep before the event, Coalinga is the land of dust and wind.

You also should bring some track tape also to protect your car from rock chips, particularly on your side skirts.

Look forward to seeing you out there!

Yeah, I'm working to grab another set right now as I need one for the track anyways. What wheel/tire setup are you running??

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely bring some.

I have stock Comp package wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Big improvement over the PZero's that came with the car but by no means are they good for events like these.

DRs are the way to go but I like bringing a car in daily driver format that is very comfortable, full weight on pump gas with 300 treadwear tires going up against fully built/trailored cars.

What tire sizes?? I had the GTS wheels on before with 255/275 PS2s, but I hadn't bought my house yet and didn't have room to store them. Really regretting selling those now haha.

I know the 20's are heavy and will slow me down, but I'm just going for the fun of it. Hopefully I'll pick up some 19's even if they're stock wheels and get em on though.

Yeah 255/35/19 F and 275/35/19 R. You may want to register at the day of the event with a lower crank HP number as people tend to sandbag and register a crank HP number lower than what they make on a dyno.

You'll be fine.

Case in point to my story...there was a guy at the first Trona event who registered with 550 crank HP. His car actually made 550 wheel without NOS but his car was setup for a 250 shot and was making something like 900 crank HP on the bottle. And he was on the bottle for every pass. lol

It's a 300C SRT8. Before it was a high comp n/a setup + nitrous. Now it has a built lower comp motor with a kenne belle blower on it.
