2008 with 45k miles
Manual trans
Jet Black on Black
Stock other than fabspeed exhaust, dinan intake, lci tails, black grill inserts, zhp shift knob, and wheel spacers.
Not showing any mechanical issues but goes in on Friday for annual service and will have them inspect and recommend.
Paint isn't perfect but looks pretty damn good after 14 years and was professionally polished and ceramic coated last spring.

On the fence about this, but worth putting some feelers out.
Family priorities come first! Nevertheless, it not the most friendly situation. I will def ask around. If you decide to sell, I might be interested in LCI taillights.

Bummer! Never an easy choice but just know there are so many out there that sell, buy back into their old car or similar E9x as most can't ever reconnect with a car like this one.

That said, I do have a buddy that is looking into E9x M3. Do you have a number in mind? Feel free to PM or text.

Thanks guys. Hard to decide on pricing - a year ago I would have been happy with $25k, but Dean Team currently has an '08 smg car with 53k miles listed at $36k (insane) so probably looking for something in between.

Guys so for the last few weeks I've been replacing the last bit of rubber in my suspension for powerflex black bushings. Other than the rear camber arm inner bushing (trying to time the realignment), everything else is done.

Along the way I picked up a 20 ton press so if anyone local ever needs any help pressing in bushings or sleeves let me know! Happy to help.

Nice! As I've said, you need a bigger garage.

I'm either going to recover the rear or buy the entire FR rear (found someone selling).

Just need to see if it matches the rest of my stuff.

It won't match but maybe close enough to pull off in the rear...

Ture!

BTW, I just saw this on the forum: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1914036

I thought I saw a used one on sale for something more than $4K recently. Perhaps, an overkill for my daily driver...

A couple offers at $28k. We close on the new house 5/16 and I will have my hands full of projects for the foreseeable future…so I'm tempted to let it go.

Do you have a link to a for sale ad I can use to drive you some traffic?

Very much appreciate the offer but I don't have anything posted. Those were just offers from dealers I reached out to…haven't felt like dealing with all the time wasters…

$28K isn't a bad deal. I've seen some higher prices tags both from dealers and private but I to am not sure if it's worth your time to haggle for another couple thousand dollars. I think only way to get more for your car is by waiting longer and avoid putting on too many miles. Perhaps in another 1 to 2 year time, you might get somewhere low to mid $30K.

I agree - $28k isn't bad for a relatively effortless transaction (especially considering what I paid) - if I really wanted to market it I might be able to get $30k, but I don't have the time/desire right now. I think I will end up selling and then have an excuse to start slowly hunting for a e46 m3

Took much longer than expected and wasn't easy at all, but almost done (trunk top section to finish tonight). Some blemishes here and there but nothing noticeable. Love how it came out!!!
