CAE ultrashifter height/shift throw and covers

Hi all,

I sit fairly close to the wheel, so I am wondering if anyone can help with:
1) pictures or measurements of how high the ultrashifter is relative to the dash (level with the shift knob)
2) pictures or measurements of how far back the shift knob is when in 2/4/6 gear relative to the steering wheel, or a measured distance form the dash

All pictures I have seen are not level with the knob so I cannot tell how high or how far back the shifter throws

P.S. anyone know where to source a shift boot and flat cover for where the ashtray used to be?

The shifter is a short throw so the travel is reduced significantly compared to stock. The flat covers are custom made. Nobody makes them in the US that I know of.

Not sure where in Canada you are, but if GTA, go checkout 11 Tenths in Scarborough.

Great shop, but they also have great pricing on these types of shifters. Look them up. The owner Randy is good people, and been in the game a long time.
