From what I've read, 80-90% of the gains you get from an X-pipe you get from just deleting the primary cats (what the test pipes are replacing). The biggest negative for me is having to cut your stock X-pipe.

Looking forward to this comparison. I'm currently running TP's + tune but I'm actually upgrading to a full x-pipe (MRF non-catted or resonated) because I believe there is room for improvment over a (chopped up) stock OEM x-pipe that is mass produced.

Nice to see you have standards and will not ship junk out!!!
If one had an Akra tune but didn't like the smell, could you run these with the same tune, or would a different tune be needed? I know there's a difference in the cats. .

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

The Akra tune is different because we counter the low end torque dip so the tune for these would be slightly different.

And when will you compare the test pipes against your X pipe to see numbers ? Which part is better ? Test pipes are cheaper, but your X pipe looks like a beauty, but how about hp numbers to compare both setups ? |

Had a chance to test these on a customers car last week. Full write up including pictures and videos coming up soon along with a group buy packaged with our tune.
For now here are the dyno graphs. Car is stock except Eisenmann Sport Rear Exhaust. WHP BHP |
