Thoughts on GTS wing?
I've never had GTS wing on any previous cars. Always thought about it but never had it done.
Black Friday is just around the corner, and I've been contemplating to try out GTS wing (from Mode carbon) which I think is the smallest GTS wing in the market. I go to track quarterly, but the car is my DD. I want to blend in traffic as well. Or should I just get high kick wing? When you see cars on the road with GTS wing, what's your first thought? I am planning to get wider wheels and front lips if that helps. |

Are you asking for opinions based on looks or performance? Either way, if your a good enough driver to take advantage of the increased downforce, then go for it. Good thing you’re going to get a lip, it will help balance the car out.

I'm not into the tiny GTS Mode Carbon wing....first thought is that it just doesn't fit the car right....just personal preference.

Unless its a true GTS car, I dont like the idea of adding the wing. It looks like a bad 90s acura put together by a 20 year old kid. The car is much classier without it.

But at the same time, I don't want to drive my car in town that people point at and call me a ricer. |

Mine is also a daily. And I had a high kick rear spoiler. And I debated the the GTS wing for a long time because it will be my first 'winged' car as well.
In the end, as I started lowering the car and adding front lip and side skirt, the car looked like it lacked some visual balance in the rear, especially when viewed from the side or front 3/4. So in the end, I got the GTS wing (Mode Carbon 1x1). I can tell you it looked a little weird to me at first (never had a winged car before). It definitely makes the car look more aggressive, so the rest of your car will need lips and skirts to match or it will look too rear heavy visually. The wing will reduce visibility out the rear windshield. And the Mode Carbon wing does have a slight sag in the middle even when brand new (we asked MC, they said it's normal. Several other cars I know with MC wings report the same thing). But all in all, I'd do it again. |

I'm not a fan of the GTS wing with 'most' street driven M cars, but Redd your car looks great with it.
But this is all subjective. If you like it, go for it. |

you don't get much though. It just reduces the lift.

I just bought the high kick wing, the gts wing is nice but unless you have other stuff like lips/ canards I don't think it fits that great.

Why would you care about being called a ricer?
You can use the downforce data provided for the GTS to give you an idea of how effective it is. I think the GTS bits are a great option since there is data available which will help in achieving a good balance.
