Per the manuals on the website, you have to configure it:

1. The “DURATION” dial sets the desirable RPM blip level by opening the throttle. Turn dial clockwise to increase
RPM blip level.

2. The “DELAY” dial allows for the insertion of a constant time delay from the time a downshift event is sensed to
when the unit blips the throttle. Turn dial clockwise to increase delay. Range from 0 to 0.5 seconds

One knob if for duration or how long you want the blip. from a very fast blip to a more pronounced hit of the gas pedal, the other knob is the delay, if you want the blip to come on with no delay, meaning as soon as the box detects the clutch and brake pedals are pressed or, you can dial up to half a second delay for a more casual approach I guess.

I guess tuning of those knobs is a bit of personal preference but it will also vary from engine-to-engine. Something that revs very quickly won't need as much of a blip, but if the car has a broad RPM range it might actually need a longer one to bring the revs way up.

Hopefully you guys can share your settings here and save people the hassle of fumbling around on back roads to find what works. :-)

It has been a fun project trying to fund out what works. But dparm is right, you dont need to dial a lot of blip to get the job done. I have both a tune and sprimt booster to get my revs up quickly so my duration set is around a quarter of the range

I wanted to resurrect this thread. I have a 2009 and have been searching for some time for a solution like this. I see that it was mentioned that a 2010 install worked even though the thought is that this function is for 2008 only. Has anyone with a 2009+ installed this with success?
