I'm 24 and an officer in the U.S.Navy. I just moved up from a 2005 e46 m3 to a 2012 e92 m3. It helps that I went to college for free, but what mommy and daddy gave me was a good set of financial skills and taught me how to budget. With the practices, I have been able to attain things that I never dreamed I would as a kid.

OK...I'll bite 46 YO, own my own business, and make north of a $1MM/year....The M3 was an impulse buy for me after I traded in my 2008 997S. Wanted a hard top connvertible and had an early E46 when I was youner. Love the performance of the M3, but agree with your friend, that it is a bit of a "ricky racer" car. As such, will be obtaining a new Panamera GTS or Merc CLS 63 AMG when lease expires in 11 months.

Since you're in FL and driving a vert already I'd suggest taking a LONG hard look at the new Benz SL. I think you'll like much of what you see...
