same here...or any other alternating colors on the BMW emblem. It just doesn't work no matter what color scheme you have on the car.


Also, I'll add the stupid "time attack" colored accent on the rim of the wheel. Played out since 2005.

me too. I like the OEM yellow halogen angeleyes.

It's actually very unique. No other BMW looks like it actually.

Black wheels are absolutely atrocious. Your car looks terrible with them if you have them and you should sell your car so someone else can get rid of your terrible wheels.

Count me in as well.
It was always the default and one of the first "mods" but after a while, boy was I happy to take out the blown LEDs and put back the OEM halogens.

Took me a few years to realize it, but something about it just looks so quintessential BMW.

The carbon fiber roof on anything but white looks bad. Even if you track the car, you won't notice the weight reduction. It doesn't offer enough contrast on a darker colored car, so the panel just looks mismatched and unfinished. Finally, a sunroof serves an actual purpose and I use mine all the time.

Not M3 specific but black wheels are dumb, you cant see them, whats the point?
Also the M colored stripes on just about any part of the car seem cheesy to me.

I agree the E88s dont look great on that e92 but I've seen them pulled of well before, probably looks better when the face and lip colors match.

There is a point of too much carbon fiber trim/pieces is actually too much. When it was new and if it's functional it's cool, but now almost every car has a CF or faux CF trim. I see F8x M "builds" with almost every interior piece that can be changed out to CF looks so damn tacky. Even their damn key cases... so cool bro, the attention to weight savings in the interior for their race car slammed down on 20's.

i also do not like LED angel eyes on cars that were not made for them. The regular halogen just has a nice classy look.

I'm a huge fan of having a sun roof and the extended silver Novillo leather is the best of all interior colors, full stop. Oh and modding overall just doesn't excite me. I like a completely OEM car, with the front reflectors and all.

I hate gloss carbon interior trims, especially those on the steering wheel.

Love the OEM carbon leather trim.


I can't get on board with Lux negativity though. I do think they help keep the car fresh. It's the full headlight blackouts and fully closed circle angel eyes that look awful to me.

As far as black wheels I tend to agree. But there are certain cars where the 359's look great in satin black.

Mine came from the factory with black zcp wheels and imo they look amazing with the car being Santorini blue. To each their own I suppose.
