Samsung Instinct or Apple iPhone?
Which to get?
I can get the Samsung Instinct minutes - nearly unlimited, family plan with no one using minutes text - unlimited data - unlimited offpeak - 6pm offpeak minutes - unlim for 42 dollars a month, and about 120 at startup to get the phone OR Apple iPhone minutes - 450 text - 1500 data - unlimited offpeak - 7pm offpeak minutes - 5500 for about 85 bucks a month, and about 300 bucks at least at startup to get the phone which would you get? why? |

but the htc touch pro doesnt have the app store that apple has, which i think is the iphones biggest edge...
for the price, and my situation, its one of the two... thanks for the additional input but htc is out of the question |

g1 has more freedom in terms of apps than iphone.

Iphone 3G.. around 10 people I know have it and noone ever regretted it plus said it's worth every penny. That's why I'm getting one next year
+1 to APPS.. one of the biggest reasons why I'm getting it.

I'm a Verizon user, but between the too....
ATT>Sprint Even though ATT's overall package is worse in terms of $$$/minutes,etc, you'll have better coverage. |

I have an Iphone and i love the damn thing. Presently the Iphone is the best phone for apps/internet out there. Blackberry will have an app store coming out as well but they'll be just as stringent as Apple is when it comes to programs. However, although the G1 just came out it has the most potential of all of these phones. I know Google just got rid of a lot of the programs from their store (since a lot of them were in the beta phase) but the simple fact that it's not regulated opens a world of possibilities.
I hate the fact I can't tether my phone to my laptop. If i'm paying for the data plan then why not?

Without a joke, sprint's reception sucks ass.
Two of my friends has em and they lose signals so easily. Thought t-mobile was bad but sprint is no joke. |

swung by the sprint store, the instinct isnt really comparable to the iphone
they mentioned the htc touch, which runs on windows, too complicated compared to the iphone and the htc touch pro, which is the same as the touch but with a sliding keyboard, and expandable memory... for 50 bucks more a month, and 1000 bucks at the end of the two year contract, the iphone over the instinct.. |

If you have bluetooth make sure your new phone is compatible. My Samsung wouldn't pair and I had to change it with a Motorola. I believe that your safest bets are Motorola, Sony-Ericsson, Blackberry and the iPhone.

Hey dArNeLLi, as a representative for Sprint, I am of course a bit biased in which phone you should choose. But, besides the obvious financial savings you’ll benefit from, the Samsung Instinct has a lot of features that you won’t find on the iPhone like: turn by turn GPS, Live TV, push to talk, and the ability to film video from your phone. Hope I could help your decision!

I just switched from the Instinct to the iphone 3G and it's honestly like going from a Mustang to a M3. The Instinct is crap IMO. Get the iphone and don't look back.
