Probably won't hear much of the intake. My car is parked in an underground parkade. Pretty sure my exhaust will echo and drown out any sound from the intake.

Probably wrong place to post this.. sorry. But i was somewhat concerned... Does anyone know what parts of our engines use manganese? My most recent oil analysis was normal except for high manganese. I read somewhere online that manganese is used sometimes on anti friction bearings. This oil wad bmw twin turbo 10w60 on a 2011 m3 dct. All other levels are normal but manganese was 95 while 6k miles ago it was only 1. Very interesting. Any direction is appreciated.

It's been a couple months since I did the work, but "today" I installed a Harrop kit and ordered some Titan TS5 wheels. Anyone want to pick up some BBS CH-R in great shape?

Very cool. How much do you want for the rims?

I put a borla ATAK exhaust on my e92. Sounds awesome.

About to list them this week when the new ones arrive. I'll be just under market value to move them sooner than later and willing to ship

Day 6 of it being stuck in the garage after 16 inches of snow fell last weekend in NC. Everything except the actual roads have been mostly frozen since then. Finally, after a miserable day in the office, I got home and spent 3 hours with an ice pick and scraper to clear the driveway enough to get it out tomorrow. It's been a long week..

Getting some work done under warranty (thank you aftermarket warranty!):
- replacing DCT oil pan + gasket and mechatronics cover and gasket
- replacing thermostat and sensor (had a 2B59 code)
- replacing leaky valve cover gaskets
- new spark plugs while they're in there (my dime)

Next time I bring it in they'll also replace all four wheel bearings for me as soon as I confirm for the warranty adjuster that the noise is not just due to my winter tires. I thought it was the diff but the diff had new fluid put in last April and is fine. Apparently at least a couple of the bearings are noisy.

Sure.

I might just have RG do it though. Need to have them do my brakes and track day inspection anyways.

My stepbrother took my M3 while I did some work on his E46 330Ci. Replaced O2 Sensors, spark plugs and ignition coils. Has a leak in his radiator from where one of the hoses connects from the looks of it. Not sure if he needs a new rad in general or hose, gotta inspect it some more
