Hmm interesting. I was just about to ask if that was an isolated incident but I guess the VT3 running ~12psi is like 610-620whp based on more dynos from that site.

13-14psi 665whp.

For some reason I thought someone broke 700 or came really close?

Izzy put down 650+ whp with 11psi , keep in mind you need boost to make up for compression drop.....

Mine dyno'ed 360rwhp stock on CA 91, and I was VERY careful to follow the break-in procedure. These motors can be very strong if cared for!!

The current VT2-625 runs 6.5-7 psi. They also have different software than the previous version which was designed for 93 octane only.

You're on what Level 3 now? I mean your dyno's have been very low in the past, and are finally starting to hit #'s near what others have been for awhile, that's good to see and I'm happy for you and Nik.

What matters is now, the SAME car makes 667whp SAE and 686WHP STD 12-13psi, on two different dynojets, one of them is the same dynojet you referenced above, that's progress that is consistent.

I've dynoed the car quite a few times over the last year and a half, it's been a process, not every dyno has been posted. As I told you in another thread, 667WHP SAE and 686WHP STD 12-13psi, that's only ~2 more psi than you run on your kit, and I have lower compression, never hit 14psi yet, at the event I was hitting 11psi and still managed to destroy a Mclaren, what have you and AA done with your setups running 10psi? FWIW the higher you go psi wise, the more difficult it is to make power per psi.

Myself and I'm sure anyone else here with common sense could care less about a dyno that is a year old, lol. Regardless dyno results vary in every platform, every car, etc. Here's a real world run power #'s from the same dyno for both cars, VT2 (575whp) vs a VT3(686whp), there is a huge gap in performance.

All I did was mention all of the VT3 dynos from the database for everyone's benefit. Didn't want some one getting confused that the only numbers were the low 600 ones. Not sure why you are getting so specific with me? My comments were not specific to you.

I don't understand why anything I have done with my setup is relevant here?

As you can see, I wasn't being specific to you as I mentioned 14psi, which isn't your dyno. Izzy hit 666 at this level according to the web site.

It was just an interesting comparison - 2 very different setups that made similar numbers. Obviously the VT3 has changed and is the fastest kit out there that I know of. Shit if I had a VT2 kit I'd probably be upgrading to a VT3 right now.

I think you took my post a bit negatively for some reason unless it was directed to Andrew. Just saw both of our names though...

Should send that 686 dyno to the database. More data the better - I think that is the one I was thinking of that was close to 700.

I believe I live near 1sickM. I would be down for some friendly runs. My only conditions are late night with no traffic on a highway I'm familiar with. I like to know of possible spots to watch out for and try to take reasonable precautions. I don't really care if I win or lose. They are both really nice fast kits. and quite comparable.

A friend just got his ESS650 back up and ready to go for the street. Been meaning to have some nice runs when we both have the time.

Just took over a couple businesses so life has been quite busy but there are some really nice local highways and just got my GoPro!

I should have some 60-130 numbers soon. IMG was kind enough to offer me his Vbox to borrow. Will take him up on the offer if I don't end up ordering one this week. Could be fun to have one for the future as well.

Ah makes sense. Learn something new everyday. Thanks bud - you must be getting pumped for your VT3! Would need to have some friendly runs to see how much it pulls by. Should be one hell of a M3!

For what it's worth I was there when this M put down 625Std & 610SAE, Yes i was in shock and couldn't believe my eyes as I was looking dead at the screen ( you'll see me
In the video ) .
I thought to myself wtf ... How... Noway .... Something is wrong , but when Scott "1sickM" told me he put down 371whp stock , I did the math and it seemed to make sense , he has a freak motor ! I wouldn't even call it a freak motor I think he has a freak fuel pump...

The question you guys should be asking is Jeff should line up to a equal 625 kit 6mt to see how they compare on the road
