Clear Reflectors

The painted reflectors look like a patch over a hole, which is exactly what they are. Short of going to the extreme of installing a Euro front bumper, I'd rather have something functional there instead of a patch.

I found another brand of clears (not Depo), they are from Helix. I should get them any day now.

I saw those. But for some reason the configurator they have says they will not fit a 2011. Are the 08-10 the same reflector as the 2011?

Im about to order some too. I agree. The clear is way better than color matched wart bumper. If they yellow, I'll buy more. They are still 1/3rd the cost of painted ones.

08-11 reflectors are exactly the same.

Wait until later today. My Helix clear reflectors are out for delivery. I'll have them in my hands in about 4hrs.

They (Helix Brand) seem to fit about the same as the oem. I just really like the clears on AW.

Looks like these "Helix Brand" are also made by Depo.

Yep. These look just like mine (from DEPO). I just wish they had the finer prism material inside like the OEM reflectors.

I agree, it would be great if the prism matched the OEM's.

I had Depo's before, then they became water logged LOL

I was hoping that a different vendor was making them when I saw Helix, but its the still Depo.

How are yours holding up? water, yellowing?

So far, mine are fine. But, I have only had them on for about 1500 miles.

My clear reflectors from ebay are about a year old (7500 miles, garage kept) and they still look OK... maybe just a hint of yellowing. They are still fine though... not bad enough that I would replace them.

Ok So found another brand: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/E9...per-Reflectors

They seem to have a finer prism. They have been shipped out will take pictures next to oem and the depo brand.

Had some fitment issues.. had to play around/push them in a bit.
Will report back in a few days if there is any moisture buildup.

These are going on my 2012 le mans blue when I get it
I've had smoked on my current M3, and I hate the painted ones
Since the orange looks ugly on blue, these will be great

Smoked ones will look good too. The lighter ones they offer.
