Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Next best thing since Auto rain sensing wipers, the auto high beams will sense oncoming traffic and switch back and forth between low and high beams automatically...

Best option ever.. I was getting so sick of all the effort it took to manually flip my high beams ... They should have thought of this years ago

The taillights are LEDs. Reverse/brake/turn-signal lights are not, but they rarely are, which kind of defeats the purpose IMO. Either make them ALL LEDs or not, as far as I'm concerned. Take care.

Auto high beams...yet another option that could fail if used in the wrong manner.

Coolness. Glad I went for ED instead of waiting for MY10 update. I have HD so only real diff is auto high beam.

Mind you, the real update likely following w/ the LCI in 1H 2010.

Exactly.

This is what BMW does with many new automotive technologies.

It starts out on the flagship 7-series models, then a few years later...it trickles down to us 'peasants' in the 3-series cars.

What about that Canadian PDF on the forums that lists things such as Adjustable Width Seats with Lumbar support, etc., for the MY2010 M3?

Funny, Oz spec cars had that from day one release of the M3, not that good really, gets fooled by reflective signage and doesn't work in areas with street lighting

You have to take into consideration that Canadian-Spec M3's are more aligned with Euro-Spec M3's than they are with U.S-Spec M3's.

Changes to standard or optional equipment lists are usually implemented on Euro & Canadian build M3's...not U.S. & Canadian M3's.

We don't always get access to all the goodies that Germany builds, but we also don't have to add everything to the car ala carte' like they do in other world markets. The standard M3 here in the states comes pretty well equipped in it's base (stock) configuration. While in Europe, they have to tack on a number of things to equal our 'standard' equipment list.

They also pay a lot more for the M3 everywhere else in the world.

I believe the U.S. market has the lower MSRP on a new M3, than anywhere else in the world. (in fact I'm sure of it)

If you ever travel to Europe for any reason, check the prices of a new fully loaded M3 over there. (then convert that to U.S. dollars!)

You'll have a heart attack...

The pricing news is welcome.

The AHB option does not interest me. At least it is offered as a stand alone rather than bundled into a package. Now, it looks like there's no way around HD radio. Sat-radio FTW

I share your sarcasm for conveniences that won't enhance my driving experience. Does M Division really think that its M3 clients are reaching the threshold of capacity to multitask when driving? What next; a lane change alert that would be very useful at the track?

Don't really care about HD radio, but it is available in my area so I guess I would use it...

REALLY don't care about the headlight option.

Big question for me is... Any new colors for 2010?
