It was at 5, but I moved to 6 because I like to try and be a bit pre-emptive. So far its going perfectly

Just bought one as well. I'm currently running rpi gtm exhaust..
Will be doing some data logging for the o2 sensors as this could just be over priced resistors only lol

That's funny. Product comes out 5 years after the original, at 1/4 the price, and a week later its "overpriced"...

about 250 miles racked up so far and no cell yet. checked for o2 sensor readiness twice within a few start cycles apart and they were active both times.

Spoonful20c, can you take some pics showing a ready status, in a new thread? And those of us that are using the BMS DP fix can update it with our experiences. That would help other people in following the new product as a new, cheaper alternative for those of is that just want a cat delete.

I would start it, but can't check readiness on my own.

It would be awesome for shops/vendors to package that with an exhaust setup...

sadly I'm using one of those really cheap obd2 scan tools from auto zone where you have to scroll through each line to read codes. it would not make any sense to anyone if i posted pics since i'd have to scroll to show everything. anyway I'm right behind you at 500 miles with no cel yet.

here are some screen captures from Rev and Dash Command apps showing OBD readiness after installing the CEL fix from Burger.

Currently running RPi GTM exhaust with no cats, about 500miles and 2 fill ups...

Reason why I think it's tad over priced is because it's less than $2 to put together, it's just set of resistors and potentiometer

Just so people know; everyone was excited about the fabspeed HFCs resolving the SES, and in almost all cases, it took 1k miles+ before the SES came on. So just an FYI before everyone goes out and buys this. 250, 500 miles doesn't mean a whole lot. Once you are into 3-5k, then I would say you know this thing is working.

Did Burger say how long they tested this?

What HFCs and fabspeed tried to do was to clean up the airflow to the sensor. This intercepts the O2 sensor and reduces the voltage going back to the ECU, acting like the correct sized cat is in place.
I will be putting on another 1000 miles this week and a track day this weekend, so will see...

yikes...lol yeah I'm still a little comprehensive with this product. fairly cheap gamble at least. was fabspeed also using this method? i totally thought they were using a mechanical o2 fouler? i too would like to know how many miles bms tested this product for.

Burger is smart and capable. I ran a JB4 for a while on another one of my cars. I trust Burger to do a competent job and have ordered one of these modules.

You're on an iPad right?
Cause I want 4G on my iPhone..lol

Everything is overpriced for our cars... Akra Delete R is $400.... an exhaust can be $500 to $12,000

A lip is $500-1000

Plenty of modules that cost $150-500 cost little to actually make.

It comes with the territory lol. I wish things were cheaper for us

BMS is pretty good at figuring these things out, but I'm sure if anyone has any problems with it they will keep at it with you until fully resolved. There is no reason it should work for say 200 miles and not work for 2,000 or 20,000 miles. You have the same series of tests and same signals being generated.

I liked BMS products on my 335i. Anyone have a dyno plot of how much power you can add by gutting the primary cats or using test pipes, in the absence of a tune?
