IMO running 30mm wider tire than factory is overkill.. but thats me. |

A 275 is pretty wide for a 9" wheel. You lose a lot of steering precision with that much of a pinch. A 265/30r19 works fine up front, on a ZCP wheel, not sure if that is available in the brand/model you want.

I am running 275/30/19s and 295/30/19 ad08s on my e92 with no rubbing. I have about negative 2 chamber all around (may increase the front chamber during the next track day). Works well.

I've seem some square ZCP setups here. I want to say they were running 285s?

Ok I got some late braking news from a good friend of mine. He advised me that PSS's run wide. He's running them on his 911 and thought the 295 looked closer to a 305 when I first got them. A couple of post in this thread refer to AD08's which doesn't seem to run as wide as a PSS from my research. I don't want to adjust the camber just to accommodate a wider wheel for daily duty. So as the clock was ticking down on the Michelin rebate I pulled the trigger on some 265-30's and 295-30's. This should work with no rubbing at all. Now my only concern will be the .5" overall diameter drop up front. This could cause my lip to rub in and out of the driveway. I guess I have to leave it in M mode to keep things stiff until I've cleared the dip. Thanks for all the input guys .................Phil

The sizes you are running would be ideal for an E92 M3 in terms of the tread width I am looking for and the overall diameter is as close as possible so as to not screw with the speedo too much. Could also go 265 in front if needed. I just want to be sure there will be no rubbing at all. How do you adjust the camber on stock suspension? Quote:
I am also considering 20's, this setup seems to work fine for the poster: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=224094 |

As for the PSS running wider, I just installed a set of 255/285, 245/265 and 205 square tires on three different cars, and I didn't notice a significant increase in width of any of the PSS tires compared to the original tires. I will say the PSS has a more squared shoulder than the rounded shoulder on the PS2 which slightly increases the effective width of the PSS. |

I agree the PSS are slightly wider but to me they don't appear to be a full size wider; however, I haven't taken any measurements so you could be right. From what I've read it sounds like a 265/30 on the front should just barely clear at full lock. I'm running 255/40-18 on a 9.5"et23 wheel on the front and I do not rub at full lock - my setup has a larger diameter but is not as wide as your 265/30-19 setup. |

Haven't mounted them yet but have plans to do so next week. Yeah I got them from Tire Rack. The delivery service has been flawless. I've ordered these and a set of Hankook's within the past 3 weeks and they both arrived within 2 days..........Phil

Fit is spot on and the look is great......in fact I just crawled under the car to check things out. The 295 out back looks like it was meant to be there......Phil
