I hope it works out for you though because it really is a great exhaust for the most part.

Tlud: I believe that the packing/muffling materials in the muffler deteriorate slowly over time, causing the "muffler" aspect to lose its primary function.
MGZT: I MAY go to the meet at Hooter's on 59 and Kirby this Sunday at 11:00 am. I'm not sure though, because work has been a killa this week and all next week. |

I got mine installed >1 month ago.
If it get's louder than what it is I'm going to enjoy the exhaust even more. It's not very loud the way it is, only on startup but once I'm on the highway I don't hear the low rpm noise. So far I've been very satisfied with this exhaust. |

Hey Andrew, did you every hear back from AA was to whether their software will reduce the low RPM 'boominess'? I have the same issue with my set-up and I'm trying to find out what my options are to remedy this...

Dinan is your best bet to avoid boomy and drone. I'm actually probably gonna go with Dinan for my E90 this time around. I've out grown the "I gotta have a loud exhaust" phase in my life. I just want something louder than stock, but quieter than all the other after-market solutions.
The AA is still a great exhaust if you can live with the loudness in the cabin. |

Supposedly pretty good, but no e90 version so I haven't tried it. I'm just posting what I've tried and heard in person over more than just a few miles

Sorry to bring up such an old thread. I'm thinking of purchasing the AA signature and so far what I'm reading sounds great. But, does it drown out the engine note? Love the S65 over 3k RPM and would love to still be able to hear it.
Thanks |
