A few years ago I found a top spec E92 with hardly any miles. Sold it to buy a Lotus Exige but always wished I could have kept it. Was fortunate enough to buy it back this week.
It had 11k mikes when I sold it, now 28k, so still pretty low.
Now, off to hunt for a carbon plenum…..

Added a pic of the Exige too, if anyone's interested.

Tell me more about the Exige.

Before I go completely stripped and caged with my e92, I'm wondering if a lighter car is the better question and an Exige the answer.

Congrats on finding and bringing your car home!

Seems like a very common regret . .

You have a very uncommon update/win. 😎

Badass car.

I had the same dilemma, which was the reason the M3 originally went. Test drove an Exige and that was that. It's 430bhp and weighs not much more than a ton, so it can run all day on circuit without any bother and doesn't use much in the way of tyres, pads etc.

On road, of course the M3 is an infinitely better all-rounder! I love both for different reasons.

I was thinking extended Oyster, a color already offered on the regular E9x, but I am not sure. Never seen that on an M3 however. Totally love that! Way to go, OP! Don't let it go again!

I think Oyster was only offered in Nevada and Dakota leather, not Merino that's in the M3

Awesome, congrats, did you have to pay a premium for it over what you sold it for a few years ago?
