The snow can't slow our Team down. Today marks the beginning of what will be an epic journey. This BMW F82 M4 will be receiving a Turbocharger Upgrade, Dodson DCT Transmission build, and Upgraded Rear Axles from DSS.
Today we start the build with a comparison of the factory BMW S55 Turbochargers vs the new upgraded Xona / Tial Hybrid turbochargers! Stay tuned as the pieces all come together over the next 2 weeks.        Starting the weekend off on the right foot... Audi S8 paid our TEAM a visit this morning for more POWER via APR, LLC. Stage 1 ECU Upgrade. The APR Stage I ECU provides +171 HP and +191 TQ over factory rated horsepower. Not bad for 45 minutes of your time!   SL 55 AMG (Weistec Engineering Supercharged) is in for pre-op today. It will be getting a complete run-down by our Team prior to tear down for Weistec's M113K Forged Pistons & CNC'd Cylinder Heads. Busy Busy this morning in the Shop, just the way we like it! From Supercharger Pulley Upgrades to Engine Harness Replacement we have you covered!  Extensive Service + Repair going down on this Twin Turbo X5. Not only is the engine needing a complete new wiring harness but our Service Team is almost taking care of Valve Guide Seal Replacement As well!   Audi B8 S4 3.0T Number 2 Today to receiving an APR, LLC. Upgraded Supercharger Pulley! The APR Supercharger Pulley Upgrade is the answer. Spinning the supercharger faster increases air flow and effectively doubles the low-end gains of Stage I. The gain in torque is felt immediately, but the results are present from beginning to end adding up to 80ft-lbs and 108 horsepower at all four wheels!  |

BMW Day here at the shop. M3, M4, M6, X5 50i, 650i, and X1. All manner of Service and Repair!
  Things are escalating quickly on the BMW X5 50i Engine Out Service. Now our Service Team is ready to get into the nitty-gritty of Valve Stem Seal Replacement, Intake Valve Carbon Cleaning, and Engine Harness Replacement.       BMW M6 receiving Dinan Engineering Dinantronics Upgrade this afternoon. Stage 1 Maximum Power: 680 HP, 644 lb-ft of torque.    Fit & Finish of the AMS Performance Audi S4 3.0T Supercharger Cooling System Upgrade is Top Notch!   Porsche 997.1 Carrera S in the shop this morning for track prep for an up-coming event down at NJMP. Our Service Team is performing a brake pad upgrade, complete system flush, as well as suspension setup!    When the details matter. Its one thing to be able to install "performance" components, its an entirely different thing to be able to set them up properly.   Nothing better than gaining +98 TQ and +74 HP in 30 minutes with APR, LLC. Stage 1 ECU Upgrade for the MK7 Golf R!  Service is complete on the BMW X5 50i Twin Turbo Engine, time to get this bad boy back on the road! It received a complete TTRS Front Brake kit including calipers, rotors, brackets, and SS braided lines! Great bang-for-your-buck when compared to upgrading to a complete 6/8 Piston Brembo Aftermarket kit!    BMW 335xi in for a Performance Overhaul Today! Our Team will be upgrading this 3 Series with: - Dinan Dual Core Front Mount Intercooler - Dinan Spring Kit - Dinan Supplemental Handling Kit - HRE FlowForm 19" FF15 Wheels     Spring is upon us, what have the Winter months done to the performance of your vehicle?  Audi V8 R8 in for Track Prep today. This coupe is receiving a complete new set of rubber, alignment check, and brake fluid flush service!     While increasing a vehicles out put through more horsepower is always at the top of everyone's list. Increasing stopping power is just as important. More POWER is what the Redline Speed Worx, LLP (RSW) Service Team gave to this Audi S6 4.0T via APR, LLC. New Cast Downpipes + Stage 2 ECU Tuning!
Expect a decrease in turbo lag with power and torque gains as high as 59 HP and 95 FT-LBS of torque over APR Stage I! The APR Cast Downpipe Exhaust System replaces the restrictive factory catalyst cross pipes and resonators with an upgraded 76mm stainless steel mandrel-bent system, featuring port-matched cast inlets, high-flow catalysts and various other features. Don't be fooled by the badges this is in-deed a C63 AMG, and today it is getting the grunt to back it up!
 Taking care of a few NNJR PCA Members today. Knocking out the Service on the Porsche Cayman S first. It will be receiving a Brake System Flush, Spark Plug + Coil Pack Replacement, Belt, and Oil Change. Our Team will also be taking care of the PCA's Track Tech Inspection as well for the owner.      Timing Chain Service well underway on this MK5 R32 today!   Progress is coming along nicely on this 991 GT3 Porsche today.    We're just going to leave this here . . . the new HRE Performance Wheels RC100's have been freshly mounted up, time to dial in the GT3's Suspension before receiving a bath.   Starting Monday Morning with a Martini Livery'd PDK Porsche Cayman S for track prep, suspension tuning, and alignment. As always, our Team is happy to support the NNJR PCA!     It turned out to be a Porsche type of Monday Afternoon for the RSW Service Team.    When your Tow Rig has a break down and you don't trust anyone else, RSW Service Team to the rescue with a built Allison from BD Diesel Performance. Our Service Team started off the morning to a line of European Auto's awaiting fine suspension adjustment & alignments. They are currently dialing in a YAS F80 M3 to the owners spec before he swaps back over to his summer rubber this weekend. Not the best way to start the week for the owner of this 2.0T TSI A5 that was towed in for diagnostics. Didn't take to long to figure out what the issue was...     More destruction from the 2.0T TSI engine from the A5 Audi we posted about yesterday. Looks like the engine ate a rod bearings and then all hell broke loose afterwards!   Our Partners at Akrapovic Exhaust System's stopped by the shop to spend some time with the RSW Service Team. Oh yea, they brought their beautiful new Porsche Cayman GT4.... Weird I tried to give them some business wanted to get KW has kit installed since I was working so much. Walked in to get an estimate for install. They wanted to put the car on the lift before quoting a price.
Never seen this procedure in the 30 plus years of being an enthusiast. I did the job on my own in 6 hours. |
