When there is a set of taillights for the F82 that is $9000, suddenly this intake seems very reasonable.

I'm late to this party, in for the vids. The name of the fab is "Karbonius"? Any relation to the "Carbonio" CF intakes from the E46 M3 days?

No.

This company has been around for a while and used to make the E46 M CSL replicas. They still do actually

True, guess I should've replaced "afford" with "justify purchasing with a straight face"

Feels like to have a proper before/after, you should be keeping the old xpipe...?

I'll have to redo the base and then do the intake one

Doing this with an oem xpipe is pretty pointless as it's so restrictive

So long as your before/after dyno have the same X pipe, it's interesting data!

Any chance you could make it a dynojet in SAE mode?

It'll be on a dynojet for sure.

I'm going to do it on one car that is pretty stock plus the xpipe and tune.

Then later on I'll do it on the other car that will have cams/headers/tune.

I'm hoping that the larger intake allows us to achieve better gains with cams/headers

In before the BUT IT ONLY COUNTS IF YOU HAVE ALLOWED THE CAR TO ADAPT TO EACH MOD IN BETWEEN FOR AT LEAST A MONTH AND ALSO THE STRAPS THE DYNO OPERATOR USED ARE KNOWN TO BE RIGGED BRAGGING RIGHTS STRAPS posts

Ha, the OTS tune I have is fully adapted so no issues there

This is only an issue when people are getting dyno tunes to within a hair of their engine's life and showing nice gains which don't actually exist
