I went to the BMW Tulley in Nashua and they quoted me 400ish for an oil change, not happening lol
I actually work right acroess the street from Barvarian and they dont do service anymore, but i did get the oil and filter for $100 from them today. And a local recommendationof where i should get it done.

Leemik did he have a shaved head looks to be in mid thirties or so? Great guy. He owns a Daytona grey RS4.

I just realized Sunday is Mother's Day so maybe Sunday isn't the best of days to this, but if people are interested it could be a fun and finally meet some of you in person.

I know it sounds wicked sketchy. I questioned it as well, however the head tech over there is a BMW enthusiest and does alot of work with them oddly enough.

Oil change is not rocket science. No need to go to Turner or the dealer and pay them $100 to do it. Any competent mechanic can do it.

Whats funny is I bought a year or so ago a lot of oil for my M3 and some of my friends owed me some oil. So when I take it to the dealer (under warranty) but not maintenance warranty, I provide the oil and at the BMW dealer an E92 M3 oil change for me is $40-$49.

To me its not rocket science to have the dealer do the oil change at that price. So what if it costs me a half of tank of gas for the dealer to change my oil.

Yes, that was me. Small world!!! Organizing those meets is huge work. No time these days for that kind of commitment. Would be happy to attend one, however

You are correct. Oil changes aren't rocket science, however, any engine work I rather let a pro take care of it, peace of mind.. Especially these cars. Just me though

Are you the one who was complaining about the cost of installing lowering springs a while ago? Stop complaining and let the pros do it and open your wallet. Or learn to do it yourself. More money for more mods if you DIY!

There's a difference between "complaining" and looking for the better solution on doing things (doing your homework). I was never complaining about it. IMO, If I think I could something, I would do it myself, however, if I can't I'll let someone else do it. Simple. With all the research I've done in the past, I decided to do the work myself, "more money for mods if you DYI" I guess if you put it that way...

NHman-If anybody is curious to see the history, go to the website under the E90/92/93 forum and search "Climb to the Clouds". It has been going on for 4-years with one planned next June (overnight stay at the Mt Washington hotel).
Anyone going to attend:http://www.climbtotheclouds.org

Provided that my car arrives in-time, I'll be there. Otherwise I am hoping to have it prior to the first winter storm.......
