Gintani Stage 2 supercharger swap back to OEM
Bought my E92 with Stage 2 Gintani supercharger a couple months ago without realizing how much of a headache this would become in passing emissions inspection. Haven't been able to register the car so thinking of just going back to stock. Supercharger was installed April 2017, has maybe 10k miles on it, I'd have to check the service receipts from prior owner to give a more exact figure. Kit has the carbon fiber elbow manifold, I'm not sure if that's standard or if it was an upgrade. The engine cover is the standard black piece. This kit is $12,995 plus labor from Gintani, the prior owner spent $14,995 including the labor (I have the invoice). I'll take $8500 cash plus you agree to swap whatever OEM parts are needed to go back into my car, split total labor cost with buyer. Local swap in Las Vegas only. For anyone interested I can get you a couple nights at a hotel in Vegas for free. PM if interested. Edit - I may be having my shop remove the kit soon, so I can sell outright too. If you want to keep it, you might want to look into registering the car in Montana. There are other benefits as well besides just emissions regulations.
Pm me if your interested and I can point you in the direction I took with my dedicated track car
