F8x Seats into an e92...

Ok, so I've seen a few youtube videos about this swap and it seems fairly straight forward. What I've not heard is if the F8x seats address the high seating position issue. That's really my only major complaint about the e9x; the high seating position. Does anyone know if the the F8x seats sit lower/closer to the floor despite having the same (or close to same) mounts/rails?

They sit lower, much lower when set to lowest position & angle, definitely a noticeable improvement.

Do you have these installed in your car? I'm curious about how well they integrate

One thing that bums me out is the lack of head rest guides so quick fit pros or any harness for that matter, do not work with the seats.

I do not but they're a direct fit for the most part.

Yep, I hear ya. I turned down a killer deal on a custom set of Cobra Nogaro's earlier this spring; kind of kicking myself now as I wasn't thinking about harnesses at the time.
